In order to celebrate the Van Mahotsav JK Fotests Deportment in collaboration with Edcational,Environmental,Social,Spors and Cultral Society Bhalessa,Rahat Welfare Society and Army 4RR organised a voluteer plantation derive and eco valley ball competetion at Gandoh.The plantation was caried by all employees of forests of Range Bhalessa players of various valley Ball teams and volenteers of Socities.The plantation derive was supervised by Range Officer Zafrullah Sheikh.After voluteer plantation derive an Eco Vally Ball competation was organised at Halipad Gandoh in which about fourteen teams of the area paricipated.The competition was inaugurated by worthy SDM Gandoh Ch .Dilmir (KAS) in presence of SDPO Sh Sunny Kumar Gupta and Captan P.S Kanwar.Final game was played between Garden Gowari and Yuong Star Bharthi which was owned by Gowari.Later on valedictory and prizes distribution was organised which was presided over by SDM Gandoh.Speaking on the occasion the chairman of the Society Mohd Ayoub Zarger said that main of this program was to inculcate the spirit of eco-volunteerism among the all saction of the society even players also.He explained in detail how plants are beneficial to man and appeals the public especially youngesters to strengthens the hand of Forest Deporment and society for the conservation of forests.He described the various success stories which society has achieved for lost twenty years of awareness.In his presidential address SDM Gandoh appreciated deportment and NGOs for organising awareness programs in area. He also highligted the impotance of plants for humancivilzation and extened full administrative suports for conservation of biodiversity in the area.Other who spokes on the occassion includes Captain Kanwar,Tehsildar Gandoh,Gh.Nabi Wani chaiman Rahat welfare society and Ishaq Rashied Malik president JKTF.The vote of thanks were presented by Range officer S.Zafrullah Sheikh wereas poceeding of the function was carried Sh Shabir Ahmed Batt.Others were present includesthe Firdous Ahmed, Khanday, Ishtiaq Ahmed Malik,Dr Saleem,Sheikh Er Irfan Ahmed,Muassir Rafiq,Zahoor Illahi,Mohd Yassir Mir,Forester Bilal Ahmed Rather and Jan Mohd etc.The winner up,runner-up prizes and free plants were also distributed among the players.
