The day of 6th June 1995 was very historic one as on this very day a meeting of some youths was held at Changa to think about future prospective and development of the area. In the meeting an idea regarding floating of social organization was put before the participants which could work for the socio-economic development, better education, conservation of forests, exploration of culture enhancement of sports activities and maintaining the peace and integrity in the area. After the great discussion and deliberation a resolution was passed which declare that today on 6th June 1995 an voluntarily organization named as “Educational, Environmental, Social, Sports, & Cultural, Society” Bhalessa came to being. On the same day a great responsibility was put on my shoulder by nominated me as chairman of this Organization I am highly thankful to all those participants/members who shows full confidence on me and provide me an opportunity to work as per their expectation. The member unanimously elected me as Chairman of the Society. The memorandum of Association was written under the guidance of Late Haji Ab. Rasheed Sheikh (Master) who inspired us at every step. The memorandum of Association was published along with a booklet named as “Bhalessa Ki Teen Ham Shakseyatee” which was released in final function of sports tournament organized in loving memories of late.G. R. Azad (Retd Director School education), Late Gh. Nabi Rattar (AEE) and Late Munshi Ram Chand Perihar an eminent Social Worker and Hakeem. This tournament was organized only to enhance the sport activity and boost the social sprit among the youths which otherwise become pray to anti-social elements. In same Year Society Executive member decided to organize the seminar in H.S. Kilhotran entitled “lack of morality in present educational system”. During proceeding of seminar, a group of Armed Militant appeared and cardoon the area it was very threatening seen. The participants get surprised and do not know what to happen next. A militant snatched the microphone from me and start addressing the gathering regarding the topic. Thank God nobody was harmed. Next day we were summoned by Army personal and investigate the matter but no one among us was harassed. In 1997 Society got registered with registrar of societies Govt of Jammu and Kashmir under society registration act. Since then various programs under my Chairmanship were organize at different level in collaboration with Govt. agencies and civil Societies. With co-operation and full sport of the members of the Society especially Mr. Mehboob Iqball Batt Jamayat Ali Agah and all other members who always stand as source of inspiration to me. Today this organization has become the source of inspiration to the down trodden section of the Society. I remember that this was acid test for all of us and field was very vast because all the political leaders of mainstream parties have left the area owning the threat of militants. Society not only create the awareness but also highlighted the demands of public related issued through memorandum and press media before concern agencies for early redressal. Keeping in view society was adjudged as but best V O of Doda Distt. By NYK and was awarded with Rs=10000/= cash prizes. Without going in detail some historic achievements of the society under by Chairmanship are given as under:

	Execution of village forest committees to protect the forest regeneration.
	Sanction of LPG Gas counter as alternative energy to reduce the pressure on the forest.
	Sanction of BSNL tower and landline telephone
	Establishment of free study centre during winter season.
	Implementation of Watershed development program.
	Running a Private School in which orphan students are getting free education.
	Execution of sports stadium at Changa.
	Distribution of free fruit and Non-fruit Plants.
	Establishment of Nutritional garden in rural area under National Horticultural Board.;
	Registration and survey of disabled person.
	Settlement of more than 1000 pension case under different categories like old age, Widows, Disabled and militancy victims through social Welfare Deportment.
	Affiliation with NYK, WWF-Nature India and Department Environment Ecology and remote sensing.
	100% achievements in intensive Plus Polio immunization (IPPI) during 2000-2001 by deploying 100 volunteer at different polio centers of the area.
	Change of Examination session from summer to winter zone in winter zone region of Jammu province 2006.
	Empowerment of rural women.
	Implementation of labor Board schemes in year 2012.
	Implementation of minority scholarship scheme in the area.
	Providing the Financial Assistance to orphan Students, widows and marriage assistance to orphan girls without any caste color and religion is the key activity of society.
	Conservation of forest.
	Conducting of survey of Masha Community in Distt Doda.

Lastly I thanks to my colleague who are still working under my Chairmanship and encouraged me at every step.
